From pop song to oriental cover and vica versa

This is the part two of the series where I show how oriental songs and pop songs have influenced each other.

In the first part I would like to show how Turks have covered the song Sway. I dont know who is the original singer of it, as there are many versions of it. But Michel Buble has a famous cover.

So the turks have took the melody but they made a different lyrics. It is still about love though but not in the sense like the original. Here is my translation of it.

(This is the original song, but I am sure you have heard it  before)

I dont care what anyway says about love

At first it is pleasant, but it becomes empty after

My heart breaks everytime

I think love is a lie

Who do you think knows the truth?

What is love? Where is it?

If you say I should believe in it

Its hard for me, so hard

For a long time in the main role is a woman

And a man is after her

This is the way this world works

They all say the same

I dont care what anyway says about love

At first it is pleasant, but it becomes empty after

For someone it is just a game

I think love is a lie

Who do you think knows the truth?

What is love? Where is it?

If you say I should believe in it

Its hard for me, so hard

For a long time in the main role is a woman

And a man is after her

This is the way this world works

They all say the same

I dont care what anyway says about love

At first it is pleasant, but it becomes empty after

For someone it is just a game

I think love is a lie

Who do you think knows the truth?

What is love? Where is it?

If you say I should believe in it

Its hard for me, so hard

This is the first turkish version, but it has many covers as well

And this the cover I love the most

Dj-s love to cover Turkish songs in the prevous part I already talked about one(https://songsfromeszti.blogspot.com/2023/01/oriental-songs-which-have-pop-covers.html).

This one is a love song also (ofc turks xd). And Bricklacke took it and made an awesome cover of it.
Once again, I do not know the original Turkish singer, as it has many covers.

If they  asked me about your eyes  I'd say they are the ocean
They are so deep
I would mute the nightingales and rather listen to you
Your words are that sweet

Roses bloom on each other in my life
When you smile at me
I cannot be happier
When you kiss me

Other than you, other than you
I have eyes for nobody
Other than you, other than you
I have  ears for nobody

Other than you, other than you
I cannot love anybody
Other than you, other than you
I cannot love anybody

My knees tremble when I see you
The way you walk
Your flirtious smile is always on my mind

Its like its summer when its spring
The sun shines from behind you
They burnt me like fire, believe me
Those lips of yours

Other than you, other than you
I have eyes for nobody
Other than you, other than you
I have  ears for nobody

Other than you, other than you
I cannot love anybody
Other than you, other than you
I cannot love anybody

Other than you, other than you
I have eyes for nobody
Other than you, other than you
I have  ears for nobody

Other than you, other than you
I cannot love anybody
Other than you, other than you
I cannot love anybody

                                                               This is the original version

And this is the Bricklake version (they added a verse I will translate it below, but other than its the same lyrics)

The first light of the morning burnt me

Here comes the time of parting

If you are not here there is no meaning

No party sounds inviting

How nice it is to breathe

the same air with you in this world

It makes me sad when I am away from you
